The BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO continues this legacy as the first open-top BRABUS ROCKET in history. Production is limited to 10 units worldwide.

Based on the W 465 series Mercedes-AMG G 63 and driven by a cutting-edge 4.5-liter increased-displacement BRABUS V8 engine, the Masterpiece cabriolet delivers relentless acceleration alongside a powerful, confident aesthetic. Its highly complex soft-top system, incorporating more than 500 newly developed components, is engineered to provide exceptional structural rigidity while preserving the vehicle’s distinctive presence. Exclusive exterior design highlights, from the carbon-fiber WIDESTAR bodywork to the BRABUS Monoblock II EVO three-spoke wheels developed specifically for this model, add unmistakable visual accents. Inside, a bespoke BRABUS Masterpiece interior combining the finest leather and Alcantara completes the design.

Design & Exterior. ICONIC. ELEVATED.

To retain the off-roader’s characteristic silhouette, BRABUS developed a sophisticated two-piece soft-top construction comprising more than 500 components manufactured to OEM-quality standards. The soft top, which features a heated safety-glass rear window, opens or closes in just 20 seconds. An inverted “77” logo is woven into the high-quality fabric above the rear window as a reference to the company’s founding year. Two contrasting dark signature stripes and BRABUS lettering are integrated into the upper surface of the roof.

When closed, the soft top locks into the reinforced windshield frame at the front. A broad carbon-fiber roof bow integrated into the front section of the folding roof maintains its shape even at high speeds and makes a significant contribution to reducing interior noise. On either side of the vehicle, the front section of the soft top is additionally stabilized by the roof frame above the doors. Behind the rear doors, the “C-BOW” steel roll bar is integrated into the modified body and clad externally with exposed-carbon elements. It secures the rear section of the roof, which folds away behind the rear seats when opened. A tailor-made tonneau cover protects the folded soft top from dirt and debris.

Alongside rapid and seamless roof operation, the BRABUS development team placed particular emphasis on acoustic insulation, long-term reliability and flawless weather sealing. Every detail of the soft-top system was engineered to provide a high level of comfort and protection in everyday use, whether open or closed. Following completion, every BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO undergoes more than ten hours of continuous water testing in a climate chamber to verify the integrity of the entire roof and sealing system. Each vehicle is delivered only after successfully passing this extensive testing procedure.

The new BRABUS supercar captivates not only with its elaborate transformation into a cabriolet. The BRABUS ROCKET EDITION widebody design adds an emphatically sporty character with select elements made from high-gloss-sealed exposed carbon. The front of the open-top supercar makes a bold visual statement with the BRABUS front fascia, its large air intakes and integrated front spoiler. Equally distinctive is the illuminated exposed-carbon radiator grille surround, which dramatically showcases the two red signature stripes and the illuminated BRABUS front emblem. Together, these elements give the BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO an unmistakable presence even after dark.

The supercar’s side profile is shaped by its king-size 24-inch wheels, wide fenders with exposed-carbon accents and integrated LED entry lights for the running boards. Additional exposed carbon-fiber elements behind the front and rear fender extensions, together with the side-mirror covers, reinforce the distinctly sporty character. The rear of the BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO is equally spectacular, whether the black BRABUS soft top is open or closed. An exposed-carbon trim element on the tailgate incorporates red-illuminated BRABUS lettering. The widebody rear fascia not only completes the supercar’s dramatic appearance but also integrates seamlessly with the extra-wide rear fenders on either side.

The BRABUS Powerdome on the hood hints at the engine that makes this supercar one of the world’s most powerful off-road cabriolets. As the name of this exclusive Masterpiece supercar suggests, the SUV is powered by a BRABUS ROCKET 900 V8 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine. It produces 231 kW / 315 hp more than the standard G 63 powerplant.

During construction at our in-house high-tech engine facility in Bottrop, Germany, the displacement of the twin-turbocharged V8 four-valve engine is increased from the standard 3,982 cm³ to 4,407 cm³. To achieve this, the cylinder bores are enlarged to a diameter of 84 millimeters (3.3 in) and fitted with matching forged pistons. In combination with high-performance connecting rods, a special billet crankshaft, precision-machined from solid material and finely balanced, increases the stroke to 100 millimeters (3.9 in). Equally crucial to the substantial increase in output is the modified turbocharging system beneath the red BRABUS exposed-carbon engine cover. Two special turbochargers with larger compressor units and reinforced axial bearings generate a maximum boost pressure of 1.4 bar. Two BRABUS BoostXtra valves produce a distinctive blow-off sound during load changes.

The BRABUS ROCKET 900 increased-displacement engine is complemented by a precisely calibrated stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with 76-millimeter (3.0 in) downpipes, special particulate filters and metal catalytic converters. In addition to contributing to the engine’s immense power delivery, the exhaust system features actively controlled valves for selectable sound management. From the cockpit, the driver can choose between an especially powerful V8 soundtrack in Sport mode and a discreet whisper in “Coming Home” mode. On either side of the vehicle, two exhaust tips positioned ahead of the rear wheels are framed by exposed-carbon surrounds incorporating the ROCKET Launch Ambience Light.

Following extensive dynamometer testing and road trials, all high-performance components are precisely calibrated to work in perfect harmony. BRABUS engine engineers and electronics specialists developed dedicated mapping for injection, ignition and boost-pressure control. The result combines optimum performance with impeccable durability. BRABUS recommends MOTUL high-performance lubricants for the entire powertrain.

The extensive development effort results in outstanding performance figures. A peak output of 662 kW / 900 hp at just 6,200 rpm represents an exceptional figure in this vehicle category, as does the immense maximum torque of 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) at only 2,900 rpm. Inside the vehicle, torque is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft). The BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. To protect the tires, the top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h (149 mph).

WHEELS & SUSPENSION. AUTOSPORT EVOLUTION.

For dynamic and safe handling on the road, the open-top BRABUS supercar is equipped with high-performance road tires. The widened BRABUS fenders create the necessary space for bespoke “PLATINUM EDITION” high-end wheels featuring an evolved interpretation of the legendary BRABUS Monoblock II three-spoke design first introduced in the late 1980s. The 10Jx24 front wheels are fitted with 295/30 ZR 24 tires. At the rear, the wheels measure an imposing twelve inches in width and are fitted with 345/25 ZR 24 tires. Exposed-carbon aeroblades add a further technical dimension to the wheel design. Beyond their distinctive appearance, they help manage airflow around the rotating wheels and reduce turbulence in this aerodynamically sensitive area.

Specifically calibrated for the 24-inch wheel-and-tire combination, the BRABUS RideControl aluminum coilover suspension was developed by BRABUS suspension engineers in cooperation with technology partner KW. The front struts and rear shock absorbers with integrated cooling elements are precision-machined from solid material. The system allows the cabriolet to be lowered by up to 45 millimeters (1.8 in). The damping characteristics can be adjusted using the standard Drive Select control.

The exclusive BRABUS Masterpiece interior is finished in a combination of black leather and Alcantara and impresses with meticulous craftsmanship down to the finest detail. Precise quilting in the BRABUS “Shell” pattern adorns the seats, door panels, leather-upholstered footwells and luggage compartment, as well as the leather floor mats. The center sections of all seats are perforated with equal precision to retain the seat-climate functions. Bright red decorative stitching and piping create vivid contrasts throughout the cockpit. Numerous interior components, from switches, speaker grilles and air vents to trim elements, handles and door-lock pins, are additionally finished in “ROCKET RED.”

High-gloss-sealed carbon trim throughout the cockpit and pedal pads made from the same material emphasize the supercar’s performance-focused character. The stainless-steel entry panels feature an illuminated BRABUS logo whose color can change in sync with the ambient lighting. To improve access to the rear seats, the supercar is equipped with special BRABUS “Easy Entry” hinges that increase the rear-door opening angle to 90 degrees. Carbon-fiber paddle shifters with integrated LED rev indicators indicate engine-speed progression in real time, changing from green to yellow to red to signal the optimal shift point. In keeping with the vehicle’s performance potential, the supercar features a speedometer calibrated to 300 km/h.

Each BRABUS 900 ROCKET EDITION CABRIO is delivered with a selection of bespoke accessories. The vehicle keys are trimmed in matching leather, while a leather BRABUS “Weekender” bag, likewise color-matched to individual interior configurations, provides the ideal companion for extended journeys and weekend escapes.

A blockchain-based Digital Product Passport is integrated directly into a dedicated BRABUS Spec Plate in the luggage compartment. Developed in collaboration with the Aura Blockchain Consortium, the system provides verified documentation of authenticity, ownership and vehicle specifications – ensuring complete transparency and traceability for every BRABUS Masterpiece produced in Bottrop, Germany.
